Socks & compression socks

What size should I choose for socks?

When choosing socks, we recommend starting with the shoe size you normally wear.

If you are unsure about your size or have any questions regarding sock sizing, you are always welcome to contact our customer service for further guidance.

Which socks are right for me?

It depends on how you plan to use them. Consider the following:

Usage:

Do you need socks for everyday wear, sports, work, or a specific activity?

Material:

  • Wool keeps your feet warm and dry in all weather and is ideal for hiking
  • Bamboo viscose is soft and breathable
  • Cotton is durable and comfortable for everyday use
  • Lyocell is moisture-absorbing and well suited for training

Size:

We recommend choosing your usual shoe size for regular socks. For compression socks, however, you should base your choice on your ankle and calf measurements to ensure correct compression.

Support & comfort:

If you need extra support or comfort, consider socks with cushioning or compression features.

On our website, you can also use the filter function to sort by size, brand, material, colour, and function to find the socks that best suit your needs.

How do I measure myself for compression socks?

When choosing compression socks, you need your shoe size as well as your ankle and calf measurements.

Use a measuring tape and measure in the morning before your legs have had time to swell.

  • Measure your ankle circumference at the narrowest point
  • Measure your calf circumference at the widest point
  • If you are buying tights or stay-ups, also measure your thigh at its widest point

Accurate measurements are important to ensure the correct compression level. If you have wider calves, you may in some cases need to choose a larger size.

How do I choose the right size for compression socks?

You should base your size on your calf and ankle measurements (taken in the morning).

Once you have measured, select the size that matches your measurements according to the size guide on the product page. You will find the size guide where you select the size.

I am between two sizes for compression socks – what should I choose?

When choosing compression socks, you should consider three factors: calf measurement, ankle measurement, and shoe size. The most important factors are your calf and ankle measurements, as they determine the correct compression.

If you fall between two sizes, or if your measurements fit two different sizes, we recommend using your shoe size as a deciding factor for the best overall fit.

However, you should never choose a size that does not match your calf or ankle measurements.
